Summer Activities

On a vacation in Altenmarkt at Habersatt holiday farm, boredom is not an option. No matter what you are interested in, you will most certainly get your money’s worth here. In the summer months, there are weekly guided hikes with Farmer Martin.

Here on the farm, you can enjoy quite a few things such as trikes and bikes for the kids, a playground with a slide, swings, play hut, and a rocking horse. (Mountain biking, basketball, darts, table tennis, walking on stilts, soccer, volleyball, milking contest, looking for mushrooms, experiencing nature, tall tales, hikes to hill country, sheep search, and milk and honey schnapps)

Magnificent hiking paths right from the house – the perfect bench to rest on as well as a peaceful place surrounded by fields and forests. Pony riding, trout pond for fishing, observing the work of farmers – hay harvesting, driving the cows to the meadows, fetching your own breakfast egg direct from the hen, grill nights, open-air concert with the Altenmarkt town band.

ATOMIC - Vital Park

The Vital Parcours is the starting point of the ATOMIC Vital Park in Altenmarkt-Zauchensee. It serves as a meeting point and communication center for all fans of outdoor movement and exercise on the Schlatterberg. Location: 200 m behind the information center, next to the Schlatterberg parking lot: Highlights include: 2,000 m running route, muscle parcours with 20 stations for stretching, toning, and strengthening exercises. Developed according to cutting-edge sports science and sports medicine.

Running

In the middle of a wide-open valley of this low-mountain region, you can choose running routes or tours of all three difficulty levels (easy, intermediate, difficult) in Altenmarkt. There are five running routes (25 km), each evaluated by sports scientists. The lake tour in Zauchensee will lead you up to an elevation of 1,360 m.

Riding

In the ATOMIC Vital Park, riders can gallop for miles through a unique, slightly hilly low-mountain area, or ride up- and downhill through the mountains themselves. Whether at a sporty gallop in the valley or on a trail ride along an alpine route with many great views (800 to 1,800 m), horse lovers are able to experience the beauty of horseback riding with their entire being.

Golf

14 golf courses nearby. Within a travel time of 5 min. to an hour, you can reach 14 of the most appealing golf courses in the Alps. From the driving range, the pitching and chipping facilities, and from every tee, enjoy an impressive mountain backdrop between woods and medieval town views.

High-Ropes Course

300 m long forest high-ropes course with 16 challenge stations and 16 platforms at heights of 3 to 15 m; steel cables; slides; rope bridges, boardwalks. 7.7. to 30.8 every Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday from 10 to 6; Registration for 15 people or more possible outside of regular opening times
