Clamp on your skis and off you go. The ski area of Radstadt-Altenmarkt (elevation up to 1,700 m) invites you to an enjoyable, friendly winter experience.

With the most beautiful view of both areas and the surrounding mountains and the very best snow conditions. The ski area of Altenmarkt is a real treat for families and first-time skiers. The easy slopes with practice lifts at the valley station are particularly suited for beginners.

Parents know: when the kids are happy, everything else falls into place. Especially when it comes to skiing. “In Altenmarkt, we have a practice slope which, as far as the gradient and length are concerned, is one of the best far and wide”, gushes the head of the ski school Rupert Maier. Also, the ride up on the Arlhof practice lift from the Hochbifang valley terminal is perfect for kids and beginners. The lift ends at a slope with an option to branch off into “fairy-tale forest”: “Fun and games are the focus here”, continues Rupert Maier. And as for the parents: they can kick back at the Arlhof-Hütte and watch their little ones on their first ride down the slopes.
